Happy 14th Birthday by Judith Armstrong

Good morning A2Z Scraplets Fans and welcome to the weekend and my last share for this month. I've decided to go through some of the photos I had printed off waiting to be scrapbooked from ages ago and try and make a concerted effort to get them scrapped!
This layout is of my son's 14th birthday (he is now nearly 21!).

For the Happy in the title I used part of the A2Z Scraplets Small Happy word. I first painted it with gesso and then coloured it with a blue Sharpie.

I also used the A2Z Helicopters 1 set of 3 shapes as they were perfect for this page which featured my son getting a remote controlled helicopter. I gave them the same treatment as the title.

Don't forget there is still one week to get your entry into our monthly challenge. Details of which can be found here

Thanks for looking.

Journey

Hi everyone, Donna here with a share that was recently
published in Scrapbooking Memories magazine-and its packed with A2Z products
Firstly, the photo is self explanatory-a photo taken whilst driving
to our destination of Dubbo. I used my phone editing app to add all the details
straight to the photo for added interest.
I left the background piece raw to help with the colours of the photo
and the scraggly tree branch has been coloured with walnut ink
My title, Journey has been heat embossed in similar colours and the birds on a line has the walnut ink treatment also
And the only other embellishments were the clusters of flowers
in neutral colours.
Happy Scrapping

AUTUMN LEAVES

Hello Mary here to share a layout with you today.
When I received the Autumn Leaves chipboard piece I was really happy , as our town is called the Colour City and I have quite a few Autumn photos , it was just the prompt I needed to scrap one.

I treated the chipboard piece by priming with gesso and then I coloured the piece with Autumn Coloured Gelato's , which I then went over with a wet paint brush. I finished off by dabbing a little "bling" Colour Blast , Colour paste here and there for a touch of gold.

I hope you take the time to visit the store, the range of chipboard designs is amazing !

"Pawprints on my Heart" Scrapbook Layout with Louise

Hi Crafters

I'd like to share a new scrapbook layout - "Pawprints on my Heart"

I've used the seriously cute
chipboard. I've given the chippie a coat of white gesso. I've used
Colour Blast "Bling" embossing powder on the word "heart" and coloured the other part with Distress Crayons.

received a coat of Colour Blast embossing powder in "Royalty"

I didn't really start with a purple theme but I love the Royalty embossing powder so I kind of ran with it. No mixed media but a lovely symmetrical page.

Thanks for visiting.
Happy Scrapping.

Cherish

Hi Scraplet friends, Tanya sharing another layout with you.

I'm really enjoying scrapbooking some of my older photos, this photo was
taken 20 years ago and is of my parents and I at my best friends wedding.

I've used the flourish 250916 which I have cut in half to put either side of my photo.
I have gessoed the piece and rubbed it with Prima Metallique Wax which is something
I'm loving using. The Love and Cherish pieces are from the Mini Wordlets Set 1 Family
They have been embossed with Aged Taupe embossing powder.

Life ~

Hello Mary here today to share a layout using the "Life" chipboard piece.
I came across a photo that just spoke of sadnesss and unfortunatley sadness it is a part of life , and the hard and sad parts of life sometimes need to be documented as well. The Life chipboard piece was perfect and encouraged me to document a sad time in my Husband ,his Sister and little brothers life.
The photo was taken not long after their Mum had passed away. My husband doesn't think his little brother was even aware at this stage .

I embossed the chipboard piece with pale pink embossing powder and then went around the outline with a black Calligraphy pen, I actually liked the smudged parts . The sentiment I wrote is certainly true. I asked my Sister in law if it was ok to share the layout and she was fine with that, but even after 48 years ,seeing the layout  brought her to tears and all the emotion & I noticed my husband had tears in his eyes as well.

Thank You for calling by You can find all the chipboard sentiments , titles and so much more in the shop  and we would love you to join us in this months challenge and be in the running to win some fabulous chipboard .
The challenge is a moodboard this month and you can link your entries to our facebook page
and below a reminder of the moodboard this month

Happy Creating

The A2Z Scraplets Coffee Time title was perfect for this page. I inked the bottom two thirds of the title and then heat embossed the top third with a white embossing powder.
